In conjunction with the Steinbeck Center and the MFA Creative Writing Program at SJSU, the Center for Literary Arts presents a discussion on the craft of writing with Faith Adiele. A Q&A session with the author will follow the talk.

The Center for Literary Arts Craft Lecture Series, now in its first year, brings distinguished writers to SJSU for original talks on craft. The writers are diverse and brilliant, with a wide range of artistic strategies, and each talk turns into a short course on the challenges of making vital literary art. All events take place at the Steinbeck Center on Thursdays at 4PM and are free and open to the public.

Faith Adiele is the author of The Nigerian-Nordic Girl’s Guide to Lady Problems and Meeting Faith (PEN Open Book Award). The PBS documentary My Journey Home chronicles the journey to find her Nigerian father and siblings. Co-editor of Coming of Age Around the World: A Multicultural Anthology, she teaches around the world.
