The CLA’s mission is to spread the influence of, and interest in, literature throughout the South Bay and to facilitate cross-cultural understanding in the region’s ethnically diverse population through the appreciation of works of literature.

The Center for Literary Arts Craft Lecture Series, now in its first year, brings distinguished writers to SJSU for original talks on craft.

Take some time for your writing while you Shelter in Place.

CLA Writers Workshops challenge writers to experiment with daily writing, online community, and supportive accountability.
